SpotScout Community Guidelines

1. Respect Property and Access

• Only park in the exact space described in the listing
• Do not block driveways, sidewalks, or access points
• Do not enter areas outside the permitted parking space
• Follow any posted instructions from the host

2. Use Bookings as Intended

• Only use a space during your booked time
• Do not overstay your reservation
• Do not transfer or resell bookings
• Always book through SpotScout and do not arrange off-platform payments

3. Accurate Listings (Hosts)

• Listings must reflect the actual space and availability
• Do not double-book or misrepresent the space
• Clearly communicate any restrictions, including vehicle size or access limits

4. Safety and Conduct

• No harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior
• No illegal activity on or around the property
• Follow all local laws and parking regulations

5. QR Codes and Signage

• Do not tamper with or misuse SpotScout signage or QR codes
• Do not create fake listings or redirect users off-platform

6. Damage and Responsibility

• Guests are responsible for damage they cause during a booking
• Hosts must maintain a safe and usable space
• Damage or major issues should be reported through the platform

7. Reporting Issues

• Hosts and guests can report problems tied to a booking
• Reports may lead to warnings, suspensions, listing removal, or account removal

8. Enforcement

SpotScout may take action at its discretion, including:

• Removing listings
• Suspending or banning accounts
• Limiting platform access
• Holding, delaying, or reversing payouts or charges when needed for disputes, fraud review, or policy enforcement, to the extent allowed by law and platform policy
